D R E A M D A Z E  NEWSLETTER  14 SEPTEMBER 2001

RANT

“In the midst of winter I finally learned that there was within me an invincible summer.”

- Camus

I used to be more easygoing - distracted by work, making music, enjoying culture, reading books and spending time with my family.

On the morning of September 11, I became hardcore.  I want blood.  I want Machiavellian political payback.  I crave war and destruction.

I still find it hard to believe that a bunch of radical hillbilly poppy farmers hijacked a handful of planes with utility knives and took out two NYC skyscrapers and part of the Pentagon.

I mean this came from a civilization of goat herders with a laughable medieval belief system that hasn’t contributed anything to world culture since algebra and coffee – and that was in 850 AD!

I’d like to bomb the bastards responsible back to the Stone Age, but I have a feeling they’re already there.

In the meantime, I’m dressing in black, reading Camus and listening to Cure songs…waiting for the chance to rejoice in the wanton annihilation of entire countries.
